When will it come?

when will it come I talked with my advisor this morning briefly. She agrees that most of first year students begin their own projects now, but she is so busy to finish a grant that is due today so she wishes to talk with me about this tomorrow or Thursday. Then I am outside of the door of her office.......So at most by the end of this week, I should get known what I can do for the best. If not, I would be a little crazy...How can a graduate student live without a project.....
